However, this is what I found buried here: Settings>System>Display>Related support>Change screen brightness: Thanks, but I don't have it in Network setting either. I wonder what genius in Microsoft decided that display brightness was a network setting, not a display setting? And what non-prescription medication was he/she on at the time?

Click the network icon bottom-right of the screen, and the brightness slider is there. However, I think in W11 the brightness slider has gone from Display Settings and moved to the Network settings icon. One reason is if you have calibrated the monitor, then after adjusting the brightness for any reason then you want to set it back to the level at which you calibrated it. Why wouldn’t you use the brightness control on the monitor? I wonder how many images I processed like this. I recalibrated the monitor and sure enough, it was much brighter than before. What's that all about? The only brightness control I have now is on the monitor itself.

I looked for the brightness slider in Windows. Recently I noticed having sore eyes and the monitor looked brighter than usual.
